Amsterdam, March 2026.
I had been following Cas on social media for a while. There was something in his presence, a quiet magnetism, that told me his image was only the surface of a much deeper story. When he finally walked into my house, his huge smile and natural light filled the room instantly. Right then, I knew: we weren't about to take generic photos; we were going to capture a truth.
The Amsterdam sun, always unpredictable, played hide-and-seek behind the clouds. It forced us to move quickly, chasing the reflections before they vanished. Despite the weather's pace, the connection was effortless. Cas is one of those people who doesn't need complex instructions; he inhabits the moment with total openness, expectant of what the lens might discover.
I found myself focusing on the details that the common eye often misses. The depth of his crystal-blue eyes, which seem to hold the coldness and calm of a Northern landscape. The texture of his hair, wild under the window light, and the honesty of his skin, which, through my camera, feels almost tactile, full of a grain that tells its own story. There is an organic sensuality in his way of being, a presence with the intensity and precision of an espresso master. Cas is a barista, and that discipline, the rigor of someone who understands the nuances of what is pure, filters into the nobility of his posture.
During a short break, I saw him browsing through the books on my shelf with genuine curiosity. That was when I met the "other" Cas: the academic. In that silence, surrounded by pages, he told me about his world vision and his theoretical approach to sexuality and the body. I was fascinated by his depth. It is an intellectual sense that filters into each of his expressions, a side he might decide to publish one day, and one that will certainly elevate any debate. He mentioned his thesis, a study that captured my attention immediately and gives these images a dimension that transcends the physical. But that is his story to tell, and I hope he chooses to do so when the time is right.
This editorial is the testimony of that crossover: exposed skin and a restless mind.

You also can see a shortfilm with Cas talking about nudity.

So natural and realistic! I really love this series.
